RAID Shadow Legends is doing a special Path of Spring event in honor of the Razelvarg fusion coming to a close, where players can pursue acquiring important resources like a 5 star Blessing for Razelvarg and 500 Eternal Soul Coins. This event is featuring a resource called "Egg Coins", that you will acquire as you get artifacts and accessories, or summon champions from shards.
The points are pretty evenly distributed across all tiers of artifacts with both the star level and the rarity being factored in. Point totals ranging all the way from 8 for a 1 star common, to 64 for a 6 star mythical. With how rare and hard to get 6 star legendary / mythical items are to get, it almost seems like they are undervalued a bit. You will be able to either run the campaign to level up champions, or farm gear via the dungeons to accumulate Egg Coins consistently.
Running 12-3 Brutal campaign will probably yield about 10 Egg Coins per run or so (remember not all campaign runs give artifacts because sometimes champions or mystery shards drop), and upper tier dungeon runs should yield about 35 points per run.
Pulling shards doesn't have any range or randomness, you will get a flat amount of points per shard no matter what you actually pull.
- Mystery Shard: 9 Coins
- Ancient Shard: 180 Coins
- Void Shard: 1,100 Coins
- Sacred Shard: 4,500 Coins
One of the most coveted prizes in this event, is going to be the 5 star blessing for Razelvarg that will cost a whopping 50,000 Egg Coins. You cannot just simply go straight to this reward though, for you will need to acquire a key needed to unlock the middle section by going down one of the sides first.
The left side is slightly cheaper than the right side to acquire a key, so if you are trying to get the Razelvarg blessing as cheap as possible, head down the far left side of the event taking things in this order:
- 5 Medium Arcane Potions (500)
- 10 Magic XP Brews (1,000)
- 10 Rarity Charms (2,000)
- 1 Epic Tome (4,000)
- 6 star Epic Chaos Ore (5,000)
- 1 XP Barrel (10,000)
- 1 Event Key (500)
This means it will cost 23,000 Egg Coins to unlock the Event Key that will allow you to go down the middle in pursuit of the Razelvarg 5 star Blessing.
After that, you are ready to head down the middle path. This is the path that I would personally take:
- 10 Void XP Brews (1,000)
- 1 Immortal Soulstone (7,000)
- 1 Event Key
- 500 Eternal Soul Essence (15,000)
- Razelvarg 5 star Blessing (50,000)
The middle path will cost you 73,000 Egg Coins to get to the Razelvarg blessing. Add this to the 23,000 Egg Coins that we had to spend to unlock the middle path, and we come up with a total of 96,000 Egg Coins as the total cost of being able to acquire the Razelvarg 5 star Blessing. Remember, that you do also get all of the other resources that you acquired along the way not just the Blessing.
In order to get those 96,000 Egg Coins, if someone is pulling no shards, I would expect it to take somewhere between 40,000 and 60,000 Energy depending on what each player is running in terms of content. Compared to Plarium pack value, via OUR RAID OFFER CALCULATOR, this comes out to about $150 - $225 worth of Energy.
The amount of shards required to get those 96,000 Egg Coins would be:
- 10,667 Mystery Shards
- 534 Ancient Shards ($640)
- 88 Void Shards ($220)
- 22 Sacred Shards ($440)
In conclusion, it seems the cheapest way to complete the event enough to acquire the Razelvarg 5 star Blessing, will be a close race between spending the Energy or pulling Void shards. I think this is a pretty expensive requirement that will be very tough for anyone not in the upper tier of spending and account development to complete.
For early game players or low/mid tier spenders, I would recommend to just let yourself passively acquire some resources while doing your normal dailies. For high tier spenders I think it may be going after completing it while also considering some Void shards because this event does coincide with a 10x for the META DPS champ, Georgid the Breaker.
