If you're looking for a legendary champion to be your main pvp and dungeon carry in Raid Shadow Legends, Rotos the Lost Groom is one you should be looking for. With his powerful skills and abilities, he can quickly take out his enemies in the Arenas and Dungeons (can even solo nightmare Campaign!).
Rotos is a member of the Undead Hordes faction, and he was introduced in Patch 1.13 on February 14th, 2020, as part of the classic Champion Fusion Event. He is a magic affinity champion, which means he is suitable for dealing with Spirit Affinity enemies (affinity advantage!). He has four skills: Terror Scourge(A1), Vitality Plunder(A2), Fated Destruction(A3), and Spurn Oblivion(Passive).
Skills:
Terror Scourge is Rotos' default attacking skill. It has a 75% chance of placing a 60% decrease defense debuff on an enemy for two turns, which makes it easier for Rotos to deal more damage to his enemies if that is applied as long as enough accuracy is provided through his gear build. It also has a 25% chance of granting him an extra turn, which means he can attack again immediately.
Vitality Plunder is Rotos' second skill, and it has a cooldown of three turns (two when fully booked). It deals damage to an enemy, decreases its max HP by 20%, and adds that HP to Rotos' own max HP. This skill is particularly useful when fighting against bosses because it decreases their max HP by 30% of the damage inflicted. Rotos' max HP will also be increased by 15,000 when this skill is used against bosses and 60,000 against enemy champions. It is a very strong skill with a short cooldown that makes Rotos stronger and tankier the more he uses it.
Fated Destruction is Rotos' third skill, and it has a cooldown of four turns(three when fully booked). It ignores 60% of the target's defense and ignores unkillable and block damage buffs. If this skill kills an enemy, Rotos gains an extra turn. Enemies killed by this skill cannot be revived if Rotos has gained the maximum amount of HP from the Vitality Plunder skill. This makes the use of Rotos A2 even more important and makes Rotos a great threat in prolonged fights as he will be applying block revive to his kills.
Spurn Oblivion is Rotos' passive skill. It decreases the damage from a single enemy hit so that the incoming damage will not exceed 50% of his max HP from that hit. This can occur once per enemy attack. It grants Rotos an extra turn if this damage reduction occurs. This skill does not work against bosses, but it decreases the damage taken from bosses by 15%. If Siphi the Lost Bride is on the same team, it decreases the damage taken from bosses by 30%. A crazy passive that protects Rotos against multiple enemy nukers and makes it almost a necessity for enemy teams to have a double-hitting nuker in order to deal with the threat of Rotos as they won’t be able to burst him down with any single targeting attack.
Gearing:
Rotos is an exceptional champion, and his skills make him a formidable opponent as such his gear choices have to be made with the mind into which area you want to focus this champion’s use the most. For PvE (campaign, dungeons, doom tower, and even clan boss) the best sets to give to Rotos are relentless, lifesteal, immortal, and speed.
For PvP the best way is to focus on making him as scary as possible with 100% crit rate and as much Attack% and Crit Damage as possible and if you can equip him with sets that aid in ignoring defense such as savage and cruel sets.
Since Rotos the Lost Groom can become stronger via both Health and Attack it is advised to give Rotos some more health if you can via his accessories such as a Health primary stat ring and a Health primary stat Banner.
