RAID Shadow Legends has hundreds of Epic champions, but <a href="https://aftershockunited.gg/raid/champions/uugo" target="_blank">Uugo</a> is definitely one of the best. She is a Magic affinity champion who is part of the Ogryn Tribes faction, providing tons of utility with Leech, Decrease DEF, Block Buffs, Ally Heal,&nbsp; and the ability to even revive fallen allies. With Uugo being so generally useful, she grades out extremely well on our <a href="https://aftershockunited.gg/raid/champions" target="_blank">OVERALL RAID CHAMPIONS TIER LIST</a>.&nbsp;

Since Uggo is extremely viable even in end-game compositions like the Hydra, it can even make sense to keep 2-3 of her so that you always have an Uugo in the event you need another copy. It is also a bit more realistic to build duplicates of her because she is an Epic instead of a Legendary.

Uugo is very expensive book-wise, taking a massive 16 Epic Books to fully max out her skills. This expensive of an investment definitely hurts, but she is worth the cost being one of the most consistent and viable Epic champions in the game.

The base stats are actually really solid for an epic champion. Even though Uugo technically scales damage with ATK, you want to build her as a utility support, so don't really bother worrying about the damage building stats like ATK and CRIT. It is really nice that she gets a base of 15 ACC because you will need a lot of Accuracy to get value out of her as a champion, and the base SPD of 102 is also very good.

As far as Masteries are concerned, Sniper is going to be very important because the Block Debuffs that she places is not 100% even when booked, which is an extremely important part of her utility. The support mastery tree in general does give a lot of value to Uugo, and after that you can either go down the offense tree to scoop up Warmaster, or take extra toughness via the defense tree. Eagle Eye can be a good tier 6 mastery choice because Uugo is a high-end Hydra viable champion, meaning she will need a lot of accuracy.

The stats that you want to prioritize are Speed and Accuracy. After that, just fit in as much toughness as you can get without worrying about stacking the ability for her to do damage.

<h2>Best Overall Target: Glorious Pallas</h2> 

If we are ranking pure account value, Glorious Pallas is right at the top. She brings exactly the kind of support package that stays relevant almost everywhere: a full-team revive, a cleanse, Block Debuffs, strong defensive support, and excellent turn-cycling value. On top of that, she is one of the first champions to introduce Fervor, which gives allies extra damage while helping them take less in return.

&nbsp;

That alone would already make her a premium summon target, but the bigger point is reliability. Damage dealers come and go depending on the meta. High-end support champions with revive, protection, cleansing, and long-term PvE value do not. If your account is missing that kind of stabilizer, Pallas is the safest and strongest pull on the board this week.

&nbsp;

<h2>Best Arena Pickup: Lord Entertainer Fabian</h2> 

If your focus is Arena, then Lord Entertainer Fabian has a real case for the number one spot. He is one of the most oppressive control champions in the game thanks to his True Fear pressure, cooldown disruption, buff control, and the way his passive punishes enemies for trying to play through him. In PvP, that sort of control can decide fights before they really start.

&nbsp;

The catch is simple: Fabian is more specialized than Pallas. He is incredible if Arena is your priority or if your account is already developed enough to capitalize on top-end PvP control. But if you are looking for broader value across progression, bosses, and general account improvement, Pallas is still the easier recommendation.

<h2>Strongest Void Consideration: Senna Amberheart</h2> 

On the Void side, Senna Amberheart is the standout. She is one of the best PvE support champions in the game, especially in long-form content where healing, revive utility, speed control, and sustained team cycling all matter. Chimera, Demon Lord Clan Boss, Grim Forest boss encounters, and a wide range of difficult PvE fights all suit her extremely well.

That said, Void Shards are expensive, scarce, and usually the hardest currency to justify spending on a Progressive Chance event. So while Senna is absolutely a top-tier champion, whether she is “worth it” depends more on your shard economy than on her quality. She is worth targeting only if you are already prepared to chase a premium Void and you are comfortable with the risk.

<h2>Very Good, But More Situational</h2> 

Prince Kymar is still one of the most valuable utility Legendaries in Raid thanks to his cooldown reset and speed-run potential. For fast dungeon farming and certain Arena setups, he remains a monster. The reason he is not at the very top this week is that his value is incredibly account-dependent. Some rosters need him desperately. Others already have their reset options or simply are not at the stage where his value is fully unlocked.

&nbsp;

Osgrun the Defiler is another strong option. He brings ally attack utility, cooldown pressure on enemies, buff removal, turn meter support, and good Arena relevance. He is a very real target if you want a champion who can slot into both PvP and PvE teams, but he is not quite as universally account-changing as the very top names.

&nbsp;

Kebaron the Underflame also deserves respect. He is one of the more exciting offensive options from the newer pool, with strong damage, HP Burn synergy, and good interaction around Deathbrand-style pressure. He looks excellent, and early opinions on him are high. Still, if you are choosing strictly between him and Glorious Pallas for account value, the support champion wins.

<h2>Solid Champions, But Not the Headliners</h2> 

There are other useful names in this rotation, but they are harder to recommend as top-priority targets. Lady Noelle, Togron the Conjoined, Noldua the Gloaming, Arnorn the Shining, Thor Faehammer, Maria, and even Hegemon all have roles, and some of them are genuinely strong. The problem is that most players are not pulling this week for “good” or “fun.” They are pulling for account-defining value.

That is why the list narrows fast. If you are trying to be efficient, this is not a week to spread your focus across too many names. Pick the one that solves the biggest problem on your account and leave the rest alone.

Between the new Platinum and Diamond Raid Cards, a major Cruetraxa buff, permanent Super Raids in Potion Keeps, and a long list of bug fixes, this update has more going on than it first appeared.

Plarium has added two new monthly options above the older card tiers, and both are clearly aimed at players who still spend a lot of time in Campaign and who want more account automation. That is where the first real debate starts, because some of the new convenience features are useful, but they are also locked behind another paywall.

<h2>New Raid Card Tiers in 11.40</h2> 

Platinum Raid Card The new Platinum Raid Card gives players 20% extra XP in Campaign, 30% extra Silver from Campaign battles, 100 extra Multi-Battles, doubled XP per hour in the Sparring Pit, and automatic leveling in the Sparring Pit. That last feature is easily one of the most noticeable additions in the entire patch, because it removes some of the repetitive babysitting from champion leveling. The catch is obvious though: once a champion reaches max level, you still have to swap them out manually.

&nbsp;

Diamond Raid Card The Diamond Raid Card includes everything from Platinum, but adds 140 extra Multi-Battles, 1 Legendary Skill Tome per month, and 1 monthly chest with random rewards. Those chest rewards can range from Rank 5 Chickens and Chaos Ore to Legendary Tomes, a Mythical Skill Tome, Void Shards, or Primal Shards. On paper, that sounds decent. In practice, the random chest is still a gamble, and that is likely why this part of the patch immediately got mixed reactions from the community.

&nbsp;

For early-game and some mid-game accounts, these cards can still offer real value, especially if Campaign farming is part of the daily routine. For late-game accounts, the value becomes much more situational. If you are already relying mostly on brews, not pushing Campaign often, and not desperate for more Multi-Battles, then the new subscription tiers look more like optional convenience than must-have progression tools.

<h2>Best Quality-of-Life Changes in the Patch</h2> 

Improved Minotaur Scroll Distribution One of the most useful updates in 11.40 is the change to Mastery Scroll distribution. Before this patch, any extra scrolls earned by a champion who had already maxed that scroll tier were simply wasted. Now, those surplus scrolls can transfer to another champion from the same run, as long as that champion participated in the battle and still needs that specific type of scroll. That is a clean fix to an old annoyance and makes Minotaur farming a bit less wasteful.

&nbsp;

Permanent Super Raids in Potion Keeps This one is straightforward and overdue. Potion Keep farming is now permanently faster thanks to Super Raids being enabled there. It is not flashy, but it is a welcome time-saver for anyone still building champions regularly or catching up on ascensions.

&nbsp;

Live Arena Schedule Expansion Plarium has also expanded the Live Arena schedule. Each daily window is now longer, and the updated UTC slots are 00:00–04:00, 06:00–10:00, 12:00–16:00, and 18:00–22:00. That gives players more flexibility to fit Live Arena into their day, which is a sensible improvement even if some players preferred the tighter old schedule.

<h2>Cruetraxa Is the Big Winner of 11.40</h2> 

The biggest balance story in this patch is clearly Cruetraxa. Her Skill 1 now also ignores [Block Damage], her Skill 2 cooldown has been reduced from 4 turns to 3, and that same skill now strips all buffs before attacking, places [Weaken], ignores 25% DEF, and applies [Block Revive] if it gets the kill. On top of that, her passive now grants a protected [Revive On Death] and gives her a full Turn Meter refill plus [Increase ATK] when she revives through it.

&nbsp;

That is a serious upgrade, especially for Arena. The combination of stronger buff control, more reliable kill pressure, and better self-revival makes her look far more dangerous than before. She was already a champion with upside, but these changes push her much closer to true meta relevance. If you already had Cruetraxa sitting in the vault or half-built, this patch is a good reason to take another look.

&nbsp;

The other rebalance target, The Incarnate, also improved. The update strengthens the champion’s provoke chance, expands the counterattack conditions, upgrades buff removal, improves shielding, and adds stronger Arbiter synergy. That should make the champion more usable, but the impact still looks far smaller than what Cruetraxa gained from this rebalance cycle.

&nbsp;

<h2>Most Important Bug Fixes in the Patch</h2> 

The 11.40 patch also came with a long list of fixes, and a few of them matter more than the rest.

&nbsp;

Pelops the Victor One of Pelops’ selling points is his interaction with [Petrification], so it was a real problem that he could still be hit by reflected Petrification despite supposed immunity. That has now been fixed, which is important because it restores one of the champion’s defining mechanics instead of leaving him undermined by a bug.

&nbsp;

Sanguine Maria Her passive was failing to place [True Fear] on all opponents after she revived. That is not a cosmetic bug. That is a core kit problem, and fixing it should make her much more consistent in the situations where players bring her for that disruptive revive pressure.

&nbsp;

Solanar the Gleaming Solanar was incorrectly immune to [Block Revive] when Blazing Force was not on cooldown. That bug has now been removed. In plain terms, this is not a direct nerf, but it does stop him from benefiting from an unintended advantage.

&nbsp;

Arne the White Several fixes hit Arne the White, including issues around his Song of Steel text and the second hit tied to [Deathbrand]. Players using him in PvP and PvE should now see the skill behave much more consistently with its intended design.

Gronjarr and other edge-case fixes A few of the remaining fixes are smaller but still worth noting. Gronjarr’s passive was incorrectly putting [HP Burn] on himself instead of the attacker, Clan members now properly show how long they have been offline, and a bug that let players craft Relics in the Forge with fewer than 100 materials was also corrected. That last one stands out because the official notes did not explain how far the bug went, which naturally leaves players wondering how much it may have affected relic progression.

The event is split into several stages. The first stage has no champion restrictions, while the later stages apply special conditions that limit what you can bring. All stages are available from the start, so players can choose where they want to focus rather than unlocking them one by one.

Each stage includes four damage milestones. Hitting those thresholds earns Demonic Points, and if you push beyond the final milestone, you can earn bonus points for extra damage dealt. There is one important catch, though: on repeat runs, that bonus only applies when you beat your own previous best damage on that stage. In other words, players cannot simply repeat lower-value overflow damage for extra easy points.

One of the biggest balancing changes in this event is the 100,000 cap on each shield type during Tainted Demon Lord battles. This only applies inside the event, but it is still a major detail because it directly limits the kind of massive shield scaling strategies that normally dominate boss damage setups. Before update 11.40.0, when a champion finished a scroll tier, any extra scrolls of that type from the battle were simply wasted. That was always clunky, especially during efficient mastery farming.

Now, those overflow scrolls can transfer to another champion in the same run, as long as that champion took part in the battle and still needs that same type of mastery scroll. This does not solve everything, because the overflow is still lost if nobody else on the team can use it, but it is still a clear improvement over the old system.

For players who actually farm Minotaur regularly, this will make mastery runs feel less wasteful and a bit more efficient. It is a sensible fix, and frankly one that should have been in the game a long time ago.

Potion Keep Super Raids and Other QoL Changes

&nbsp;

Another welcome improvement is that Super Raids are being added to all Potion Keeps. This is not flashy, but it is practical. Any time players can cut down on repetitive farming without losing rewards, that is a win.

&nbsp;

Update 11.40.0 also extends Live Arena activity windows. Instead of the tighter schedule many players have grown used to, each activity block now lasts four hours. That should make it easier for more regions and more real-life schedules to fit Live Arena into the day, even if some players who liked the stricter windows may need to adjust their routine.

&nbsp;

There are two smaller additions worth noting as well. First, any champion affected by the balance changes will receive a complete ratings reset. Second, team setup will now include a “Don’t show this message again” checkbox on the Aura warning pop-up.
