The campaign is divided into different difficulty modes, including Normal, Hard, Brutal, and Nightmare with each mode providing a unique completion reward at the end. Each difficulty mode offers its own unique rewards and challenges with the potential of even 6-star pieces of gear to be acquired through Nightmare mode.

The campaign mode consists of 12 chapters, and within each chapter, there are 7 stages to conquer. At the end of each stage, you will encounter a formidable boss character that poses a greater challenge than regular enemies. These bosses often require more strategic thinking and stronger Champions to defeat. However, the rewards for completing each stage at 3 stars is crucial so special attention must be paid while fighting the boss to ensure perfect completion of the stage.

The campaign mode in Raid Shadow Legends is where players will spend a significant amount of their time, especially during the early stages of the game. The primary objective of this mode is to farm gears and level up your Champions. After basic gear is acquired through the campaign all Players should ideally be farming stage 12-3 or 12-6 on Brutal Difficulty with the first being more efficient in terms of silver acquisition and the latter being more efficient for experience (only 1% more).

To excel in the campaign mode, players must carefully manage their resources, such as energy and potions, as these are consumed during battles with different cost for each difficulty.

A good choice for a dedicated campaign farmer will be your starter hero with a lifesteal set when you first start out the game, but eventually, you might want to consider stronger champions such as Saurus, Bellower, or Fellhound.

Another key thing to consider about the campaign is that important uncommon and rare champions can be farmed at each chapter. Some of them can be used for fusing Justiciar and Relickeeper but others can even be used in Dungeons, Faction Wars, and even Arena!
