Introduction:

In Raid Shadow Legends, summoning champions is a crucial aspect of the game. Players can acquire champions in several ways, including through summoning shards. There are four types of summoning shards in Raid Shadow Legends, each with its unique role in the game and sometimes different summoning odds. In this article, we will discuss the different kinds of summoning shards so that you have a better understanding of how they function in terms of champion acquisition.

Mystery shards are the most common type of summoning shards in Raid Shadow Legends. Players can acquire them through various means, including completing campaign stages, daily login rewards, and daily quests. Mystery shards are used to summon common, uncommon, and rare champions.

Mystery Shards are commonly stock-piled players even in the end-game so that they can used to finish off certain Summon Rush Events or Champion Chase Tournaments.

Here are the odds of acquiring champions from Mystery shards:

<ul>
	<li>Common: 74.2%</li>
	<li>Uncommon: 24.4%</li>
	<li>Rare: 1.4%</li>
</ul>

	<li>Ancient Shards</li>
</ol>

Ancient shards are the second most common type of summoning shards in Raid Shadow Legends. They can be obtained by completing various in-game events or by purchasing them from the in-game store. Ancient shards are used to summon rare, epic, and legendary champions. Players will also sometimes see them show up in the Market for 200k Silver a piece, and they are a definite buy at that price.

Here are the odds of acquiring champions from Ancient shards:

<ul>
	<li>Rare: 91.5%</li>
	<li>Epic: 8.0%</li>
	<li>Legendary: 0.5%</li>
</ul>

<ol start="3">
	<li>Void Shards</li>
</ol>

Void shards are the rarest type of summoning shards in Raid Shadow Legends. They can be obtained through completing specific in-game events or by purchasing them from the in-game store. Void shards are used to summon rare, epic, and legendary champions. These shards are typically seen as the highest value shards to the highest spenders and most end-game players because many of the strongest champions in the game are Void affinity.

Here are the odds of acquiring champions from Void shards:

<ul>
	<li>Rare: 91.5%</li>
	<li>Epic: 8.0%</li>
	<li>Legendary: 0.5%</li>
</ul>

<ol start="4">
	<li>Sacred Shards</li>
</ol>

Sacred shards are the most sought-after type of summoning shards in Raid Shadow Legends. They can only be obtained by purchasing them from the in-game store, completing specific in-game events, or as log-in rewards for certain milestones. The best way to acquire these is to make sure you are in a clan that can help you kill the Demon Lord Clan boss on both Nightmare and Ultra-Nightmare difficulty every single day. They can only summon Epic and Legendary champions that are non-Void affinity.

Here are the odds of acquiring champions from Sacred shards:

<ul>
	<li>Rare: 0%</li>
	<li>Epic 94.0%</li>
	<li>Legendary: 6.0%</li>
</ul>
