With the event tied to the Summon Rush and featuring a strong spread of Legendaries and Epics, this is not one of those throwaway shard announcements where every boosted option feels replaceable.

The real question is not whether the pool has good champions. It does. The question is which champions are worth targeting for your account, and whether pulling now makes sense while you are already managing resources for Mavara. Best Legendary targets from the event

Vault Keeper Wixwell remains one of the safest and strongest overall targets in the pool. He is still one of the most important shield-based utility champions in the game, with provoke utility, defensive support, and the ability to enable massive shield-growth strategies. Even outside of specialized endgame damage setups, Wixwell is simply a useful champion to own. He can do real work in difficult PvE content and gives accounts more flexibility in survivability-focused teams.

&nbsp;

Freyja Fateweaver is another premium option because she does so much in one kit. AoE provoke on the A1, a strong team shield, Increase DEF, cleanse, Turn Meter fill, Block Debuffs, and a passive that helps keep a key ally alive all add up to a champion who is good almost everywhere. She may not be the absolute top of the endgame meta, but she is one of those champions who rarely feels like a bad pull because she offers broad value across progression, PvE support, and general account stability.

Graazur Irongut is still an excellent defensive utility pick. He brings an AoE A1 with shield application, strong support tools, buff extension, healing, and overall control value. He naturally invites comparison to Krisk because of the defensive tank profile and the utility-heavy kit, even if the comparison is not perfectly fair. Graazur may not be quite that tier, but he is still a serious champion and one of the better support-oriented Legendaries on this list.

Gaspard the Accused is the specialist’s choice and arguably the most dangerous high-end Arena pick in the event. He is not a general-use comfort champion for every account, but in Arena he can be brutal. His kit punishes revives, ignores key defensive mechanics, and can immediately answer enemy revival attempts with another hit that places the target right back in the ground. If your account is already deep and you care about Live Arena or serious competitive PvP, Gaspard is one of the most interesting targets in the whole lineup.

Umbral Enchantress deserves mention because new gear options have improved her stock again. With the right set choices, especially in Hydra-oriented builds, she can once again function as a very relevant control champion thanks to her strong provoke capability and three-turn Block Buffs utility.

Deephook Nagis looks better than many players are giving credit for. In her base form, the biggest standout is how much she does in one turn cycle. She brings a 33% Speed Aura in Arena, a disruptive A1 that can place Sleep and trigger automatically when enemies gain Turn Meter, a buff-strip-and-buff-spread AoE, and an AoE that increases enemy skill cooldowns to the maximum while also dropping Turn Meter and granting an extra turn. That already puts her in the conversation for top-tier Arena openers.

&nbsp;

Then the passive pushes things even further. Sabrael takes no damage when attacked outside an enemy’s active turn, which makes her especially nasty into counterattacks, ally attacks, and similar reactive pressure. On top of that, her team damage ramps based on how many enemy skills she has locked out, which means her control is not just defensive. It actively turns into offense.

She has excellent base speed for a support, a strong Arena speed aura, HP equalization to stabilize the team, and one of the more appealing revive skills added recently. That revive brings Perfect Veil and Unkillable, and it stays useful even when no ally is revived because the buffs still go out. That matters.

&nbsp;

Her passive is another reason she stands out. Every time the enemy team piles up enough buffs, Mavara can increase ally Turn Meter. Every time her own side piles up enough buffs, she heals the team. So she is not just a reviver. She is feeding momentum and sustain throughout the fight.

That combination should make Mavara especially valuable in Arena, Siege, longer PvE fights, and controlled progression content. She looks like the kind of support champion who rewards good timing rather than brute force, and those champions usually age well.

Bayard the Broad 

Bayard the Broad looks like one of the more creative control-support legendaries in the batch. He combines buff stealing, debuff transfer, debuff spread, AoE Provoke, Pain Link, counterattack utility, and team healing tied to damage taken.

The most interesting part of his design is how the skills feed into each other. His single-target skill can steal buffs, move debuffs off himself, and then spread those debuffs to the rest of the enemy team. His AoE then Provokes enemies and applies Pain Link, reflecting damage back while setting up counterattacks on himself and the ally with the highest Crit Damage.

That already gives him annoying value in wave control, but the passive healing makes the package more complete. He also self-applies Increase DEF at the end of each turn, which is exactly what you want on a champion trying to stand in the middle of incoming pressure and turn it back on the enemy.

Bayard looks like a disruptive progression and wave-content champion more than a pure endgame speed clear piece. He is not the cleanest kit in the release, but he might end up being one of the more annoying ones to fight and one of the more fun ones to build around.

His A1 destroys enemy max HP and boosts his own Turn Meter, with both effects getting stronger against Provoked targets. That is a simple but effective loop. His other single-target attack ignores Defense and Stone Skin under the right HP conditions, and can either chain into his Provoke skill on kill or heal allies if the target survives. That gives him a mix of pressure and utility rather than locking him into one role.

Stonebound Thisbe is the fusion epic, and she looks far better than a throwaway epic tucked inside a fusion event. She brings an Accuracy aura, Decrease ATK and Turn Meter theft on her A1, AoE Hex plus Block Buffs on a three-turn cooldown, and a support skill that shortens ally debuffs, heals, and fills Turn Meter.

&nbsp;

That alone would already make her worth noticing, but the passive adds a damage amplification effect against enemies under debuffs she places. It is not flashy, but it is useful. This is the kind of champion that can quietly improve a team without demanding a mythical gear set to work.

&nbsp;

She looks especially attractive for Hydra, general support roles, and Argonite faction progression. AoE Hex and Block Buffs on one skill is already a good place to start. Add healing, some debuff management, and Turn Meter fill, and she becomes a very respectable epic right away.

Build direction: Accuracy, Speed, and HP. She wants to land her utility consistently and keep cycling back into her support skill.

The bigger takeaway from this April release 

The real story is not just that these champions look good. It is that very few of them look wasted. Sabrael feels like elite Arena pressure. Mavara feels like a genuinely strong fusion support. Costeau has a clear poison identity. Bayard and Phemo both bring layered disruption. Nosin has an interesting control engine. Stonebound Thisbe looks immediately usable as an epic.

That is where the power creep conversation comes in. Modern champions are increasingly arriving with stronger passives, better internal synergy, and fewer dead turns than many older champions ever had. This patch fits that trend. Not every one of these champions will end up being broken, but the overall standard is clearly high.

If there is one champion who screams immediate impact, it is Sabrael the Distant. She looks like the kind of Arena champion that forces players to rethink their answers from day one. Right behind her, Mavara the Web Diviner looks like one of the better recent fusion supports, and Stonebound Thisbe could easily be one of the more useful fusion epics added in a while.

The new Argonites also continue to give RAID’s newest faction a strong identity, which makes sense given Plarium’s recent anniversary push around the faction. Overall, this is a loaded April release. Whether you call it power creep or just stronger champion design, this batch clearly has teeth.

RAID April Champions Review: Are These New Units Power Creep?!

The latest Progressive Chance rotation in <a href="https://www.raidshadowlegends.com" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">Raid: Shadow Legends</a> gives players two separate summon windows to think through, and this is one of those weeks where the banner matters a lot more than the hype. There are some genuinely elite names here, but there are also a few champions who look better on paper than they do for the average account in practice.

For this roundup, the real question is not just who is strongest in a vacuum. It is who actually changes an account, who fills a rare role, and who is worth chasing in a Progressive Chance event that still does not change your base odds of pulling a Legendary or Void Legendary in the first place. If you are going in this week, you want to do it with a clear priority list.

<h2>Best Overall Target: Glorious Pallas</h2> 

If we are ranking pure account value, Glorious Pallas is right at the top. She brings exactly the kind of support package that stays relevant almost everywhere: a full-team revive, a cleanse, Block Debuffs, strong defensive support, and excellent turn-cycling value. On top of that, she is one of the first champions to introduce Fervor, which gives allies extra damage while helping them take less in return.

&nbsp;

That alone would already make her a premium summon target, but the bigger point is reliability. Damage dealers come and go depending on the meta. High-end support champions with revive, protection, cleansing, and long-term PvE value do not. If your account is missing that kind of stabilizer, Pallas is the safest and strongest pull on the board this week.

<h2>Best Arena Pickup: Lord Entertainer Fabian</h2> 

If your focus is Arena, then Lord Entertainer Fabian has a real case for the number one spot. He is one of the most oppressive control champions in the game thanks to his True Fear pressure, cooldown disruption, buff control, and the way his passive punishes enemies for trying to play through him. In PvP, that sort of control can decide fights before they really start.

&nbsp;

The catch is simple: Fabian is more specialized than Pallas. He is incredible if Arena is your priority or if your account is already developed enough to capitalize on top-end PvP control. But if you are looking for broader value across progression, bosses, and general account improvement, Pallas is still the easier recommendation.

&nbsp;

<h2>Strongest Void Consideration: Senna Amberheart</h2> 

On the Void side, Senna Amberheart is the standout. She is one of the best PvE support champions in the game, especially in long-form content where healing, revive utility, speed control, and sustained team cycling all matter. Chimera, Demon Lord Clan Boss, Grim Forest boss encounters, and a wide range of difficult PvE fights all suit her extremely well.

&nbsp;

That said, Void Shards are expensive, scarce, and usually the hardest currency to justify spending on a Progressive Chance event. So while Senna is absolutely a top-tier champion, whether she is “worth it” depends more on your shard economy than on her quality. She is worth targeting only if you are already prepared to chase a premium Void and you are comfortable with the risk.

<h2>Very Good, But More Situational</h2> 

Prince Kymar is still one of the most valuable utility Legendaries in Raid thanks to his cooldown reset and speed-run potential. For fast dungeon farming and certain Arena setups, he remains a monster. The reason he is not at the very top this week is that his value is incredibly account-dependent. Some rosters need him desperately. Others already have their reset options or simply are not at the stage where his value is fully unlocked.

&nbsp;

Osgrun the Defiler is another strong option. He brings ally attack utility, cooldown pressure on enemies, buff removal, turn meter support, and good Arena relevance. He is a very real target if you want a champion who can slot into both PvP and PvE teams, but he is not quite as universally account-changing as the very top names.

&nbsp;

Kebaron the Underflame also deserves respect. He is one of the more exciting offensive options from the newer pool, with strong damage, HP Burn synergy, and good interaction around Deathbrand-style pressure. He looks excellent, and early opinions on him are high. Still, if you are choosing strictly between him and Glorious Pallas for account value, the support champion wins.

<h2>Solid Champions, But Not the Headliners</h2> 

There are other useful names in this rotation, but they are harder to recommend as top-priority targets. Lady Noelle, Togron the Conjoined, Noldua the Gloaming, Arnorn the Shining, Thor Faehammer, Maria, and even Hegemon all have roles, and some of them are genuinely strong. The problem is that most players are not pulling this week for “good” or “fun.” They are pulling for account-defining value.

That is why the list narrows fast. If you are trying to be efficient, this is not a week to spread your focus across too many names. Pick the one that solves the biggest problem on your account and leave the rest alone.
